Floorball ACT junior members (aged 14 years and under) are invited to nominate to represent Floorball ACT at the upcoming Northern Beaches Open 2024.

When: Saturday 5 October - Monday 7 October 2024 - EXACT DATES TBC
Where: Hills Basketball Stadium, Castle Hill, Sydney, NSW
Who: Open to all Floorball ACT players
Cost: TBC (see below)

Dates

It is also not known on which day(s) the Juniors competitions will take place; previously, Juniors has only been played on one day, or on two days, out of the total three days of the tournament. We will provide more information as it comes to hand.

Teams & selection

Floorball ACT has yet to receive information from the NBO 2024 Organisers regarding which Juniors divisions will be contested.

Floorball ACT's aim will be to submit at least one Floorball ACT team in the competition; however, if this is not possible, we will locate space for Floorball ACT players on other teams.

Cost

The approximate cost of attending NBO 2024 with Floorball ACT is as follows (per player):

Team registration fees: $70
Accommodation: $100 per person per night, as required
TOTAL: TBC

The following additional costs should also be expected:

• Transport to, from, and within Sydney
• Food
• Accommodation costs for any family, partners etc. attending (see below)

Floorball ACT will provide playing uniforms for all teams.

Accommodation

If team accommodation is required, Floorball ACT will arrange for team accommodation in the Castle Hill area, and will invoice players for their contribution prior to the tournament. Accommodation will be booked for all nights internal to the competition, plus the night beforehand if required.

Transport

Players are responsible for organizing their own transport to and from Sydney; Floorball ACT suggests players organise car-pooling arrangements.

Supervision

Juniors players must travel with a designated guardian (either their own parent/guardian, or another nominated person aged over 18 years). Floorball ACT volunteers will not be acting as guardians.
