Please be advised that the Floorball ACT Annual General Meeting 2021 will be held at Tuggeranong Archery Centre, 299 Soward Way, Greenway on Saturday 14 August 2021 from 10.00am to 10.30am. The agenda for the meeting shall be:
- Acceptance of minutes of Annual General Meeting 2020
- SPECIAL RESOLUTION: Vote on update to the Floorball ACT Constitution
- President's Report
- Election of 2021-22 Floorball ACT Committee
- Other business
A Special Resolution is proposed to update the Floorball ACT Constitution. The updates are to improve the Association's disciplinary and complaints procedures, and to better align the Constitution with Floorball Australia's policy structures and procedures. The proposed Constitution is attached: Draft Constitution. The current Constitution can be found on our Policies & Documentation page.
All Committee positions will be open for election. To nominate for a Committee position, please send a nomination email stating your name & the position you are nominating for to secretary@floorballact.org.au no later than 10am, Saturday 7 August. Seconds are not required. All members of Floorball ACT aged 18 and over are eligible to serve as Committee members, including Associate members. As stated, all positions will be declared vacant; however, we are particularly interested in people looking to serve in the following positions:
- Vice-President;
- Secretary;
- Competitions Coordinator;
- General Committe members, hopefully including a wider range of views to continue growing floorball.
All members are more than welcome to attend the meeting; however, in order to exercise voting rights:
- You must be at least 18 years of age;
- You must hold a full (i.e. Senior) membership;
- You must have held membership of Floorball ACT for at least 30 days prior to the meeting.
